ZPX Mapping (.zpm)

ZPX has its own mapping format that's similar to SFZ, but simpler. It mirrors the internal structure of containers inside ZPX. It lets me experiment with new features (like time-based looping, meta data and cover graphics), without having to introduce unofficial SFZ opcodes. As of version 1.01, the spec only covers basic features needed to build common types of instruments, but you can expect more MIDI support as we go along . The extension of a ZPX Mapping File is .zpm.

Note: ZPX also supports SFZ, but as of version 1.01, only the equivalent features covered by ZPM are supported.

I'm still preparing the full specification, so please refer to this template for now. If you have questions, please contact me via email.
